Understanding Our Refund Policy

In the rare event that your order is built inaccurately or has a defect as defined by our cosmetic standard, Second Grain will replace the furniture and correct the issue. Our furniture is built from solid wood, and (by request) is sometimes distressed and has a reclaimed look. Our work is hand sanded, hand fisnihed with brushed on finihes, by real people. Not calibrated machines. Any unique characteristics of handmade furniture are not considered defects. Please see our cosmetic standards on our FAQ page. Second Grain will also replace any items damaged in transit, as long as the damage is properly noted upon delivery per our instructions. Due to the high costs of manufacturing, packaging, and freight charges, we are unable to offer returns or refunds on orders for buyers remorse, or changes in buyers circumstances.
